Moments like these are more important and memorable to a parent of a child with autism than anyone could ever understand unless they are the parent (or sometimes a teacher or family member) of a child with autism I love reading the everyday post you have. I am a TA with EC autistic children, and would not trade my job with anyone in the world. My 16th year and I learn something new every day. I love reading about sweet Amos’s journey.
Your baby is bird will soar, just sit and watch him. I’ve seen it happen to the least expected child.
keep on keeping on, you are doing GREAT Just wait!! When my son was learning idioms…it would rain and he would say “it’s raining cats and dogs!! Where are they?!” He’s growing up and blazing his own little trails. I’m so glad you let us be a part of this, Adrian. While many of us are lamenting canceled tennis, crummy weather, etc my spirits are buoyed that you and Amos embraced the rain!!
